Every hole at Morrow was found on foot. Two years of walking the estate, in every season and every wind, came before a single line was drawn.

The Championship 18 plays across three landscapes: out along the coast through dune and umbrella pine, up onto the open heath, and home past the reservoir to the clubhouse. Four sets of tees make it a fair walk for every golfer and a serious test from the back.

Eighteen holes. One unbroken walk.

The routing heads out along the coast, climbs through the pines and turns for home across the heath. Choose a hole to fly to it.

Each one was found on foot long before it was drawn. Walk them in a different light and they play like different holes.

04

The Pines

Par 4 · 412 yds

A dogleg left that bends around a stand of two-hundred-year-old umbrella pines. Take them on and a wedge remains; play away and a long iron finds a shelf green tucked into the forest edge.

Quarry

Par 3 · 187 yds

The tee sits on the lip of a quarry that supplied stone to the region for three centuries. The green is framed by the rock face itself, so a missed shot is simply gone.

Long Heath

Par 5 · 568 yds

The longest hole on the estate crosses open heathland in flower from March to June. Three disciplined shots, a patient putter, and the ocean in view the whole way.

Mirror

Par 3 · 164 yds

A peninsula green reaching into the reservoir with water on three sides. On still mornings the flag appears twice, once in the air and once in the water.

The Return

Par 4 · 461 yds

Uphill toward the clubhouse, where the terrace watches every approach. A generous fairway and a fiercely contoured green make it a hole of nerve.

Beyond the eighteen

The Short Nine, under the lights.

Nine par threes from 68 to 142 yards, floodlit until eleven at night. It is where first rounds are played, where members settle bets after dinner and where the best short-iron players on the estate are made.

The range, short game park and putting lab sit five minutes from the first tee. Forty-eight tracked bays tell you exactly how far each club is flying today, before the course asks you to choose.

    Members book twenty-one days ahead and guests fourteen, with twelve minutes between every group.
